Whale watching has started very well in June seeing up to six humpback whales in one tour. The humpback whales have been inside Eyjafjordur in great number and it is very lively. As in June the humpbacks are very active we have seen them breaching, watching us and be very curious about us. As June whale watching usually takes place further up the fjord we are totally in cover from wind and waves. In second period of June they usually come even more active the humpbacks with more breaching and splashing, exiting times.
